Born in Portland, Oregon, Kristi King began her professional singing career at the tender age of 10. In just two short years, she had performed on just about every local television and radio show around, as well as headlining each year at the Oregon State Fair. Newspaper reporters dubbed her the "hottest child star since Shirley Temple". One interview followed another and by the time she reached the age of 16, she had made over 250 appearances and had literally, hundreds of newspaper articles written about her. At the age of 20, she packed a bag and headed for Los Angeles. Now, not only singing but also writing and recording her own songs, she appeared on the Regis Philbin show. She now resides in Palm Springs, California and has headlined at such prominent places as Trump 29, the Annenberg Theatre and many of the hottest supper clubs the desert has to offer. As for the duet you are listening to now, entitled "Jackson", she recorded that with Rick "just for the fun of it", asking nothing for her services. Kristi is now "shopping" her songs in the hope of landing a recording contract. With the unique combination of beauty, talent and personality, she's a pretty good bet to become one of the hottest tickets of the 21st century. She started studying the mannerisms, the voice, the look and the hairstyles, among everything else, of one of Hollywood's biggest female stars. The result, you ask? The result was sold out performances wherever KRISTI KING brought her absolutely perfect, "TRIBUTE TO DORIS DAY" show. See for yourself by clicking on her website link, shown above.
